Leading care forward by advocating for our customers and their patients

HCHB Responds to CMS on the 2023 Proposed Rule on Behalf of the Home-Based Care Industry

Over the last 60 days, post-acute advocates have been diligently working to change much of the proposed payment rule for CY 2023. HCHB has been working closely with our customers and groups like the Partnership for Quality Home Healthcare on a response. The letter has been formally submitted to CMS and posted to their website, along with other HCHB customers and advocates. We are sharing this information with all home-based care agencies in hopes that it is useful both with CMS and in legislative efforts on capitol hill—we believe it presents a very compelling set of arguments.

There is currently a bill in front of congress that you can take action on right now, this link HH 2023 Proposed Rule Feedback will enable you to route feedback directly to appropriate legislators and we encourage you to share this with all of your home health colleagues. Together we can work to ensure cost-effective and patient-preferred home-based care continue to serve America’s most fragile and vulnerable seniors and homebound patients.
