Homecare Homebase President Scott Decker Named as Speaker at Inaugural Forcura CONNECT Summit

Leaders in acute, post-acute, payer and technology sectors to connect and collaborate to discover ways to improve continuity of care.

Homecare Homebase President Scott Decker has been announced as a speaker at the inaugural Forcura CONNECT Summit. Hosted by Forcura, a health technology company that enables safer patient care transitions along the care continuum, the summit seeks to break down industry silos and connect health industry leaders and influencers who might not otherwise meet.

Held on Friday, Aug. 28, the innovative, all-day virtual summit will provide thought leadership content and conversations on the technical, business and clinical aspects of the care continuum. Through Aug. 28, 2020, the $50 attendance fee from each completed registration will be donated to United Way Worldwide’s COVID-19 Community Response and Recovery Fund.

Decker joined Homecare Homebase as president in January 2018 with more than 25 years of leadership in a wide range of home health care ventures. The founder of Healthvision and a former finalist for DFW Entrepreneur of the Year, Decker has also served as president & CEO of HealthSparq and president of Nextgen Healthcare. Most recently, he was CEO of MDLive, which offers 24-7 virtual access to doctors and therapists. Decker is a graduate of Trinity University in San Antonio.

“It’s an honor to be selected to participate in this important healthcare summit hosted by Forcura,” said Decker.

The Summit offers three main tracks for guests to attend:

  • Patient & Provider Relationship Management – business of enabling continuity of care with key stakeholders
  • Care Team Collaboration – advances in clinical tools and protocols to ensure seamless patient care
  • Data and Analytics – interoperability and the power to deliver the right care at the right time with personalized data

The Forcura CONNECT Summit will include health industry leaders in the provider, payor and technology sectors looking to connect and collaborate to improve continuity of patient care. Although keeping care continuous has been a longstanding issue, the ongoing pandemic has created a critical need to strengthen cross-sector relationships and overcome barriers for optimal patient outcomes.
