Fidelity Health Care says manual scheduling was highly stressful and error-prone, so it adopted HCHB Smart Scheduling to automate routine work and make scheduling more manageable for its team. The report says Fidelity moved completion of next-day scheduling from 4 p.m. to 2 p.m., enabled schedulers to focus more on exceptions instead of touching every visit manually, reached 70% scheduling automation, and improved paraprofessional optimization by 40%. It also says the organization avoided hiring additional schedulers, effectively needed 1.5 fewer FTEs, gave clinicians a better way to pick up open visits after hours, and improved scheduler satisfaction and retention.
