Homecare Homebase’s September 9, 2025 press release announces that HCHB was named a finalist in the Building Bridges category of the 2025 McKnight’s Excellence in Technology Awards for its work with Visiting Nurse Association of Southeast Missouri. The release says VNASEMO used HCHB Smart Scheduling to address staffing challenges after reducing operations, which contributed to a referral uptick and a 15% increase in monthly average daily census, while HCHB Patient Visit Reminder also helped the agency miss fewer visits and cover more visits earlier in the week. It adds that the recognition reflects HCHB’s focus on helping agencies improve efficiency, strengthen care coordination, and enhance patient care, with winners to be announced at the McKnight’s Tech Awards + Summit on September 16–17, 2025.
